28 Delicious Vegan Thanksgiving Recipes for 2020

Vegan Thanksgiving

When it comes to thanksgiving, there are two types of vegans: 1) those who sit in the corner pathetically munching on a whole sweet potato while their omnivorous families enjoy a feast, or 2) those who take matters into their own hands and make phenomenal vegan recipes that everyone loves.

Let’s make sure you and your plant-based loved ones stay out of that first category, okay? To get you started off on the right foot this holiday season, here is a collection of 28 incredible vegan thanksgiving recipes from around the web:

    • Thanks, Magdalena! I will be making some of them too. The first two main dishes (risotto and quinoa stuffing) are staples that I bring every year, and I can’t wait to try more of them as well!

… There’s going to be way too much food at my family’s Thanksgiving this year :p

  1. Andrew,
You have truly outdone yourself this time! So many options, it’s a feast just thinking about it. Everything looks so delicious, I will be working my way through your list of recipes starting this weekend.

  2. These look like fantastic & incredibly delicious recipes! I’m really impressed that your Thanksgiving menu options are filled with other people’s recipes! Kudos to you for being so humble & just in happily sharing other people’s amazing delights along with your own! I’m happily bookmarking many of these recipes & quite a few new-to-me blogs! Thanks!

  3. Wow, these look AMAZING! If someone filled my festivities with all these scrumptious looking dishes and treats, I’d be one very happy girl 😀

    • Thanks Sharon! I think if someone filled my holiday with ALL these dishes, I’d be one happy (and stuffed) boy as well 😀

    • Hey Jackie, of course! If anyone deserves to be in the list, it’s you! I can’t wait to meet up sometime… we seem to keep missing each other at local potlucks and meet ups, like Kylie’s on Tuesday, which I couldn’t make. Someday soon, I’m sure! 🙂

    • That’s great, Angela! It’s one of my favorites, but sadly, I didn’t make that one this year… I had too much else to make. Maybe Christmas! 🙂

  4. Thanks for organizing all of these great vegan Thanksgiving ideas. I love the meatloaf, hot pumpkin drink, and well actually most of them look good.

  5. Awesome list! 🙂 Just wanted to say that the quinoa stuffing recipe is now at a new URL and the old link is broken–I had to find it cause it looks delicious so I went searching. Her website is now called thewholetara (dot) com

  6. Thanks for the recipe my son and wife are vegan and are coming over for Thanksgiving. I will surprise him with some your recipes.

  7. Hey there! Thank you so much for including a Nutrition Stripped recipe — hope you love those carrots! Happy Thanksgiving – McKel

    • Hey McKel, good to hear from you! You’re very welcome. Wow, I posted this roundup (and you posted the carrots) over 5 years ago. Time flies, huh? 🙂

  8. Hi! Thank you for posting these great recipes! All of them sound sooo yummy! I’m a vegan who loves cooking. Two days ago I made no-bake pumpkin tarts and they were really amazing!

  9. These are some great recipes, although I was hoping for an oil free biscuit recipe. I’ve seen ones with coconut milk.

    • Ah, I know. I have a drop biscuit recipe too but it uses oil and I wish I could make one without but I think it’s practically impossible because it’s the oil/butter that gives biscuits their light, “biscuity” texture.
